A Life, Despairing

by Sean Ryan Naughton

ABOUT

A Life, Despairing is a story of a young man hoping to get another chance to break the cycle of addiction and recovery. He is burdened by the dysfunction and addiction his home life has trapped him in from an early age.

“One in five adolescents and young adults report misusing opioids (using without a prescription or not as prescribed) at some point. In most cases, they obtain prescription opioids from family and friends. In 2016, 2.14 million people ages 12 and older had an opioid use disorder, including 153,000 12 to 17-year-olds.”
